Mentorship Origin
Matt Bevin, working at Putnam, and Chris Greco, working at Fidelity, connect in Boston.
1998
Company Foundation
Matt Bevin, Ben Thomas, and John Ferreby work together at National Asset Management.
2003
The Mentorship Continues
John Ferreby, along with Ben Thomas, manage over $20 billion in the Focused Core Strategy at INVESCO.
2005
Waycross Foundation
Ben Thomas founded Waycross Partners with a long/short strategy and opened an office in Louisville, Kentucky.
2013
Strategy Inception
In January 2013, the Focused Core Equity Strategy was founded by John Ferreby.
2015
Fund Inception
In April 2015, the Managed Risk Equity Fund (WAYEX) was launched.
2021
Institutional Expansion
Chris Greco joins as CEO in January, opens office in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, along with the Relationship Management Team.

A Word from our CEO
Our CIO Ben Thomas founded Waycross in 2005 with the aim of putting clients at the center of all we do - our team, our portfolios, our culture. Improving returns for our investors and plan beneficiaries is what we do best - and our clients trust us largely thanks to the expertise of our strong investment team, who have been working together since the late 1990s. Our team brings their powerful experience to bear in other ways, too - we build mentorship right into our daily activities, to help everyone at Waycross develop to their fullest potential.

At Waycross, we believe that successful investing is a balance between conviction and discipline. Conviction is achieved through our Key Driver Approach to fundamental analysis, which keeps us focused on only the most critical drivers to a company's earnings.
